Help DSA tackle ILLEGAL DRIVING INSTRUCTORS The DSA is responsible for the delivery of both the theory and practical driving tests. They conduct approximately 1.6 million theory tests and 1.9 million practical driving tests each year.  It is essential that we all help protect the integrity of the tests to ensure public safety on our roads.

Always  check  or ask for instructor  badge and photo id to ensure they are who they claim to be. 

Green Badge fully Qualified ADI on display and date and photo with ADI number. 

Pink Badge for a Trainee ADI on display and date and photo with ADI number 

Dsa only use a fit and proper person to teach you professionally who has proven their ability to teach and are CRB checked covered with correct legal insurance.  

ILLEGAL DRIVING INSTRUCTORS are not covered by insurance companies you are not covered as driver and your money and life are at risk. As you may not be legally insured to drive the vehicle and person teaching you will not be a professional and are not CRB checked and deceive you to make a quick pound so please check or request these details when you start your lessons if in doubt contact DSA.  The vehicle they use will have all the same features you will find that ADI uses in order to fit into the role of the instructor i.e. L plates roof top website etc so don’t assume you are being taught by a professional and they will normally offer a very good deal in order to attract your custom.
