Pass Plus

 

Pass Plus is a training scheme for new drivers.  Its aim is to improve your driving skills  and make you a safer driver.  It can also lead to insurance discounts.

 

The scheme has been designed by the Driving Standards  Agency (DSA), with the help of the motor insurance and driving instruction industries, to develop your skills and knowledge in areas where you may have limited experience.

 

As an indicator of its effectiveness, a recent survey of L test candidates carried out by ORC international for DSA, showed that of those who had taken Pass Plus:

 

93% felt more confident on the road

 

89% considered that their driving skills had improved

as a result of the course.

 

Pass Plus has no test but an evalution from instructor that is sent to DSA to then check and issue your course certificate that shows insurance company that you have had additional further development in areas below to help enhance your confidence and skills in other driving conditions.

 

Pass Plus Course includes additional 6 hours professional instruction or more in the  following areas highlighted below;

 

1. Town driving

2. All weather driving

3. Out of town driving & rural roads

4. Night driving

5. Dual carriageways

6. Motorways

 

Pass Plus manual course total cost is      £175

 

Pass Plus automatic course  total cost  is  £205
